Lindsey Chapman is fascinated by the relationship between the natural world and our own cultural heritage, which is particularly poignant in this City of Culture year. From the wonders of our magnificent seas to the people who write songs about them, Lindsey takes you on a journey through nature and art.
Lindsey grew up in rural East Yorkshire and now has a varied career in broadcasting. This includes presenting BBC Two’s Springwatch Unsprung with Chris Packham; a live, audience-centred show celebrating the very best of UK wildlife. She is also the co-presenter (alongside Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall) of BBC One’s Big Blue UK, exploring marine life around the British Isles.
