Supremely colourful, among the most voracious predators of the insect world and on the wing for more than 300 million years, dragonflies and damselflies capture the imagination in so many ways. Yet many aspects of their fascinating lives are little-known to humans. David will provide us with a superb insight into this hidden world.

David is a freelance Writer and Environmental Educator skilled in introducing his audiences to the natural world. He worked for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and BirdLife International for over 16 years, and has had a life-long interest in, and enthusiasm for, wildlife.

The Society meets at the Hull Royal Hotel, 170 Ferensway, Hull HU1 3UF
All lectures are presented in the Royal Suite and start at 7.30pm prompt.

Doors are normally open at 6.45pm but access may be delayed if lecture preparations are not complete.
The audience are requested to please be in their seats before 7.25pm
